This year a new charity book will be published for the 2010 Poppy Appeal. Ni Bell is currently putting together a new book containing various stories on war and remembrance. The money raised from the sale of the book will go to help continue the work of the Royal British Legion.

The book will contain varying stories on war and remembrance told by people from all walks of life. Terry Waite CBE is one of those who has already kindly contributed a piece for the book, sharing a story about a close friend and the importance of remembrance. Other voices in the book also tell of moving and emotive accounts of real and personal experiences from all around the world. War effects everyone, and in this book you will see plenty of evidence for that.

Although the content of these stories are important, it is the focus on passing these stories down from one generation to the other that is at the heart of this book. And with every story you read this point becomes clearer and more poignant with every page turned.
